1. Palm Oil Banned in Sri Lanka
Recently Sri Lankan government banned the import of Palm oil from other
countries. The Sri Lankan government also announced to
uproot the Palm trees planted in their country. Even the Sri Lankan government also ordered not to plant any new palm
plant in the country.
The reason behind this recession in Sri Lanka is the Environment. Due to
the Palm Oil Tree plantation and cultivation increase in Sri Lanka, there
would be a negative impact on the environment. For the protection of the
environment, the Sri Lankan government took this decision.
The most palm oil-producing and importing country is Indonesia.
2. World Economic Outlook Report(April 2021)
Recently World Economic Outlook report is announced. Every year this report
announced 2 times by the International Monetary Fund(IMF).
According to this report, India's GDP will grow more than any country in
the World in the financial year 2021-22. In this report, it is predicted
that the Indian GDP will grow by
12.5 % in the 2021-22 years.
World GDP will grow by 6.0%,
Advanced Economies GDP will grow by
5.1%, and Developing
Economics GDP will grow by
6.7% in the 2021-22 year
according to this report.

3. India to Buy 36% Less Oil From Saudi Arabia
According to a recent report India to
buy 36% less Crude Oil from Saudi Arabia. Already India reduced the Crude Oil import from Saudi Arabia as a result
Saudi Arabia slips to 4th spot from 2nd spot among the top Oil supplier of
India.
Recently Saudi Arabia increases the Oil Import price by 20 to 50 cents for
only Asia. As a result, It will cost $1.8 more for India to import oil from
Saudi Arabia. So the Indian government responded to Saudi's action by
cutting the Crude Oil imports by 36%.
4. First State to have Two Green Energy Towns
Bihar becomes the First state
of India to have two Green Energy Towns. The name of these two Towns is
Rajgir and Bodh Gaya.
Green Energy Towns are the Towns where the electricity produced by only
Green Energy. Green Energy includes Solar energy, wind energy thermal
energy, etc. In simple words, the Energy which is produced without biofuel
is called Green Energy. As Green Energy doesn't include biofuel so it will
not cause any type of pollution to the environment.

5. India Becomes World's Fastest Vaccinating Country
Recently India beat the USA to become the World's fastest vaccinating
country.
In the past 24 hours, more than 33 Lakh doses given.
But the matter of concern is that India only able to vaccinate people only
3.1% of its total population.
