#1. Uttar Pradesh Signed Agreement with IKEA
Recently Uttar Pradesh government has signed an MoU with the largest furniture and home appliance company in the World, IKEA. According to the
MoU IKEA will invest 5,500 crores in the state in the coming 5 years.
Apart from the investment, the company will generate direct and indirect
employment of about 50,000 in the next five years.
The capital of Uttar Pradesh is Lucknow.

#2. Free Eye Check-Up by Goa Government
Goa government recently announced a free eye check-up for all in the state.
Goa Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurate the scheme 'Vision for all'
under which free eye check-up camps will be held across the state.
Under the scheme government will provide free eye check-up and super
specialty eye treatments for the people who need treatment.

#3. USA's Rover Landed on Mars
On 19th February 2021 NASA's rover land on the mars successfully. The name
of the rover is Perseverance which is the most advanced astrobiology small
laboratory sent to another planet.
The main objective of the mission is to search the microbiological life on
the red planet, Mars.
#4. Atal Bhujal Yojana in all Districts
Recently UP Government announced that they will expand the Atal Bhujal
Yojana to all the districts of the state after the successful test in the 10
districts.

Atal Bhujal Yojana is a central government scheme by the ministry of Jal shakti. Atal Bhujal Yojana is an initiative for ensuring the long-term
sustainability of groundwater resources in the country. This will definitely help the state to conserve the groundwater.
#5. Third India Tourism Mart
Recently the union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh
Vardhan inaugurated the third India Tourism mart virtually. It is organized
by Federations of Associations in India Tourism and Hospitality(FAITH)
through video conferencing. Over 250 delegates from 60 countries attended the video conference.
India Tourism Mart aims to promote the tourism of India.
